What’s New for 2008:

We, the faculty, staff and administration are extremely excited about this year’s motto of “Count on Us!” We all know our call to speak into the lives of our young peoples as God speaks through us. As a result, the spiritual atmosphere of the school has been enhanced, school spirit and cooperation amongst the student body is at an all time high, and the parents who work closely with us are encouraged as they see the fruit of their labor.

The upcoming year will bring some new and some familiar faces to our campus:

  • Mrs. Bettianne Smith will be teaching 5th Grade.
  • Mrs. Adrienne Marano will be teaching High School English.
  • Mr. Hillary Brown will be teaching High School Physical Education.
  • Mrs. Matturo is shifting from 11th grade to 7th grade where she will be responsible for Junior High School English and Social Studies.  She will also continue the development of our college counseling for the high school students.

The 2008 Academic Fair which was held on April 4th, was quite a success. Continuing with the Academic Fair format this years projects will include careers, community service, business, history, living biography, native American tribes, and world cultures. Grades 10th ,8th ,6th ,4th and Kindergarten, will again carry out science experiments. Several of last years students attended the ACSI District Science Fair.  One of these students, Cynthia Harris, received first place.

Our sports program is under the direction of Dr. White, Dean of Academics, will be offering girls volleyball, boys basketball and baseball during this coming year thanks to our dedicated coaching staff: Mr. Hilary Brown, Mr. Art Legere, Miss Kari Frawley, Mr. Tim Frawley.

We would also like to thank all of the students, parents, family and friends that have helped make this school a Light to our community.

"Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity." Psalm 133:1

In His service,

Josephine DuBois, Principal
